Friends: search and filters

Narrow the list#

Open Friends. Use search and the folders in the left column: All chats, Incoming, New, Empty, No language, Hidden. Additional filters and sorting open beside the search field.

Select a contact#

Click a friend row. In the header, check the nickname, sending account, language and trade availability. On narrow screens, Back returns to the list while keeping the selected conversation.

Manage the conversation#

Hiding moves a conversation out of the regular list; find it in Hidden. Removing a friend changes the Steam friendship, so check the contact before confirming.

In the available split layout, conversations and tools sit side by side; panels depend on your permissions.
